This is a large 1902 Map of Louisville. It measures 14 X 20 inches. It is quite detailed, showing the streets, major landmarks, transportation lines, bridges and other landmarks as they existed in 1902. This map is wax engraved and was issued to grace Rand McNally's New Business Atlas. This map is genuine, not a copy or reprint. It may have few minor handling flaws as to be expected in a map this age and large.

1969 GULF OIL Gas Station Road Map LOUISVILLE Kentucky Handsome fold-out Gulf Oil Company street plan of Louisville and vicinity, printed more than 42 years ago. This map opens to 18" x 29" and has great detail on old road alignments, with cartography by Rand McNally. The coverage area extends from New Albany to Highview, including Mockingbird Valley, Shively, Jeffersonville, Lynnview, and Braymoor, and there is an inset plan of downtown Louisville. The map was distributed by Gulf in 1969 and is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 696219-7 and the cover graphics show a Gulf gas station. There's a Gulf credit card ad, an Avis logo, a Holiday Inn sign, and the code 9A on the back cover. Condition: This map is in excellent condition, bright and clean, with no marks, rips, or tears.
